Salvation and Law Summary

As Jesus began his post baptism public ministry Matthew 4:17 says From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

John 1:17 says For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Paul says in Ephesians 2:8-10: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Therefore, those who endure until the end (Matthew 24:13) are saved by grace through faith, a faith that produces good works (Matthew 5:13-16; Romans 3:31).

Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified [declared righteous] by faith without [apart from] the deeds of the law. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. — Romans 3:27, 31

And James 2:26 says For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

And finally as Ephesians 1:6-7 says: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved [Jesus Christ]; In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
