Memorial of Lynching of Blacks in America

The Equal Justice Initiative is an organization “committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.”

This includes establishment of a museum and memorial dedicated to preserving and communicating the history of lynching of Blacks in America.
