Louis Farrakhan On the Confederate Flag

In July 2000, Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, spoke on the Confederate Flag.  He basically said it should not be a priority concern in America since it represents the history of America.  He said slavery existed before the Confederacy under the American Flag.  He also said oppression existed after the Confederacy under the American Flag.  As a Christian I certainly do not agree on everything Farrakhan advocates.  But I think his perspective on the Confederate Flag issue is worth hearing.  His video follows:
